On Wednesday, July 23rd, Australian winery 19 Crimes hosted a Dress to Kill party at one of Toronto’s top fashion boutiques, GotStyle in the Distillery District. The event was created to introduce the innovative winery’s Shiraz to fashionistos and VIPs alike. Suffice it to say, it was a success.
19 Crimes has done a fantastic job creating a brand strategy based on getting good advice from bad guys – and for this they do not go unnoticed. With their tag line, “Bad Seed. Great Wine.” they push the envelope with creative campaigns including the below video, How to Braise a Lamb Shank and Get Mickey to Tell You Where the Goddamn Money Is. It’s a hilarious take on a mobster cooking a lamb shank as “Mickey” looks on, threatened by the cook and his knives…
Keeping with this theme, the evening brought out some of Toronto’s best who got fully into the theme and did dress to kill.
Take a look at some of the peeps that came out channeling their inner mobster in our gallery of the evening.
