A few weeks ago I decided to go all out and dye my hair purple/blue. Relax, I didn’t dye my entire head blue and I do not look like a smurf… I promise! However, I did dye the ends, or shall I say ‘tips’ of my hair, and I kind of love it. One thing I do not love is how over-processed my hair is and how it’s now filled with lovely chemicals and all that good stuff. A week after I did the deed of dying my hair, I noticed that the hairs that were blue were scraggly and almost dead-looking, and that’s my fault. I was told to take care of my hair and I didn’t. I know, shame on me. So you know I was in desperate need to give my hair some serious lovin’, so I searched for a few products to help revitalize my hair and came across one of my now-favourite hair masks of all time.
Meet the L’Oreal Everpure Moisture Deep Restorative Masque. I kid you not, just after 2 uses my dead-looking hair now looks quite alive, soft, and more importantly, healthy. I can just imagine after a month of using this mask that I’ll have commercial-ready hair.

This mask is great for those who’ve dyed their hair over and over again and are now looking to repair some serious damage. Since it’s sulfate-free, your coloured hair won’t go brassy or change at all. Rather, the mask will help protect your mane! I’ve never been a hair mask kinda gal, but this definitely hooked me in. I applied this all over my head and concentrated most of the product on the tips of my hair, which needed some serious TLC, and left it on for about 5 minutes. As soon as I rinsed it out my hair was noticeably softer and the moisture from the mask seemed to have locked into my not-so-damaged (anymore) hair. Amazing.
On a side note: If you are looking to go bold with your hair colour, I recommend the gals at The Loft Toronto, who took care of my hair!
