Toronto is a city that loves festivals, so we’re not surprised to see one dedicated to the oldest form of cooking pop up!
This summer, from June 9-11th, a massive BBQ festival will take over Ontario Place. Dubbed the BBQ Eats Festival, the event promises to feature a line-up of the city’s finest BBQ chefs, grilling up ethnic flavours from around the world. RibFest, watch out!
And while the food is the main attraction, there’ll be a huge BBQ showcase to browse, too. At-home BBQ pros can browse the latest and greatest in BBQ equipment, sauces, gadgets, and more, making it the Toronto’s largest BBQ consumer show.
But the real reason you should go? It’s completely free. That means, while you’ll have to shell out a few bucks for the drool-inducing BBQ, admittance, cooking classes and workshops will cost you nada!
BBQ Eats Festival is currently looking for vendors to participate and each vendor has the opportunity to win a $10,000 prize for the best BBQ. Learn more here.
