Looking to cool down this summer in Toronto’s best pools and pool bars? If you’re anything like me, you’re always looking for the coolest places to gather your friends, listen to some good music and enjoy the sunshine during the summer. Toronto hosts a number of rooftop pools with bars, lounges, and maybe even a poolside restaurant or two. Get out your pink flamingo floaties and set up camp by these pools right here in the #TheSix.
Thompson Hotel

The iconic rooftop pool at the Thompson Hotel is a must-see if you’re looking to chill in the Six. They often get booked for private events so make sure you call and confirm that they’re open on that sunny weeknight or an all-day relaxing weekend. Their hours of operation are from Monday to Thursday 7am-7pm and Friday to Sunday 7am-4pm. Don’t miss out on the chance to view the iconic Toronto skyline from this infinity pool. If you want a nice relaxing day, then Thompson’s Pool is a great place to chill and take some of the most enviable Instagram shots in the city.
Lavelle

Lavelle is a great rooftop location to spend one of those humid weeknights. If you’re looking for single-day pool access, it’ll set you back $45 but this comes with unlimited towel service, access to your own day bed, and of course access to their iconic pool. There are also options for family pool bands that cost $95, or you can go for the patio access for only $10, but that won’t get you into the pool area. If you want to set up camp for the entire summer, you can even invest in a membership that will last you until September. This is definitely a place for singletons to mingle or bring some friends for an unforgettable night out.
Cabana Pool Bar

Cabana Pool Bar is always hosting some kind of cool event or party. Buy tickets or book your own private cabana and party the weekend away at Toronto’s most entertaining summer hotspot. The pool is just a cool-off bonus when you’ve got party vibes for days here. Located at Polson Pier, you’ll enjoy Toronto’s waterfront like never before. Pink flamingo floaties and poolside bar cocktails anyone?
Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel

The Sheraton Hotel in downtown Toronto has its new summer menu out at Urban Garden. This rooftop oasis offers BBQ bites, light snacks, drinks, and more. We recently tried the food and it’s fantastic – light, fresh and flavourful. Plus, it’s right next to their over-sized indoor/outdoor pool. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. We love that it’s also partially covered so you can still hang by the pool even if its drizzling. A day pass is only $35 which will give you full access to the pool. You can also opt for an $80 family pass so that the whole family can enjoy a dip!
Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown

Also located on the waterfront, the Radisson Hotel Toronto boasts a Lakeview Pool Lounge with snacks, drinks, and views of Lake Ontario as well as the Toronto skyline. The pool is open to the public for $45, but if you’re a guest at the hotel then take advantage of the free access. Open every day until 10pm, this 5th floor pool has cabanas, tanning beds, and great vibes. Take advantage of this gem next time the searing sun comes out to play.
Hyatt Regency Toronto

Located right in the heart of Toronto’s buzzing Entertainment District, the Hyatt Regency boasts a beautiful rooftop pool. With a $39 day pass, you can access the Hyatt’s most sought after summer feature and soak the sun-filled day away. With downtown views and bustling entertainment right beneath your feet, you’ll have everything you need to relax the day away.
Hotel X Toronto

Hotel X’s 55 foot Rooftop Pool, ‘The Pond’, is partially indoor and partially outdoor. You’ll get the best of both worlds here, and some of the most beautiful view of the lake, the islands and the city. Located right on the waterfront, you can tan the day away while you soak in the infinite waterways of Lake Ontario and gaze at the airplanes coming in and out of Billy Bishop. Since the pool is heated and partially indoor, it’s even open year-round for your enjoyment. Unfortunately, seating is limited so the pool is available to hotel guests only, however anyone can enjoy cocktails or a meal at the bar area and patio.
Bisha Hotel Toronto

Bisha Hotel has one of the most beautiful rooftop pools in the city. Located on the 44th floor, check out this infinity pool while you drink the summer days away. From 8am to 6pm all day every day, you can get your tan back on this summer courtesy of Bisha. If you’re staying at the hotel, you should definitely take advantage of the amenities and check out all their restaurants and bars too. Go find the fun this summer, and make it one to remember!
