Every time I watch Master Chef, Top Chef, or one of the those other culinary reality shows, I get hungry. All I want to do is eat what they’ve prepared but the technology just isn’t there; I’m stuck with whatever I made for dinner, and it never looks like what those geniuses whipped up! Thankfully, Chef’s Challenge for a Cure has just the solution on February 8th, 2014, where you can watch, participate in, and maybe even taste the results of an intense reality TV-inspired culinary challenge, complete with a super-famous celebrity judge! February may seem a long way off, but given just who’s going to be there and what the event is raising money for, you’ll want to get in on this as soon as possible.
Chef’s Challenge for a Cure is a unique, interactive gala where guests will participate in culinary challenges that will be judged by panels of celebrity chefs, including the amazing Giada De Laurentiis, the Emmy award-winning host of Giada at Home. Guests will be treated to a five course meal inspired by Ms. De Laurentiis’ famous Italian cooking, but the fun doesn’t stop there!
The gala’s focus is raising money for Mount Sinai hospital, with a goal of $100,000. They are already at over $15,000 but are offering some once-in-a-lifetime experiences for those dedicated to raising funds for this deserving charity. Gala attendees can raise money as a table, and groups who raise over $2,500 will be given to a famous chef to compete against each other in a Master Chef-style cook-off. The results will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges. Register now to maximize your time to raise the money and get practicing!
The gala itself will also have tables available for purchase to enjoy the events from a distance. More information is available here.
