The dirty deets are out on The Drake Hotel’s first-ever stand-alone restaurant, Drake One Fifty. Opening in early summer, Drake One Fifty will make its home at 150 York Street. Formerly housing a bank, the postmodern building will play host to a 6,000 plus square-foot space, built to seat 175 guests that includes a dining room, bar, micro-Drake General Store, curated art and performance space, as well as a 70-seat urban patio.
Internationally renowned British designer Martin Brudnizki played a pivotal role in collaborating with The Drake team to stay true to their contemporary-meets-classic look. Executive Chef Ted Corrado will supervise the menu development for Drake One Fifty’s open concept kitchen, while Mia Nielsen will curate the temporary and permanent art collections.
