It’s EuroCup time, did you know? Man, people go nuts for this sport. Not sure that I get it, but it certainly is fun to participate in the festivities. Last Sunday, Sam and I watched the England vs Italy game at The Dog and Bear, a new British pub on Queen West that was started by the boys of Parts and Labour. OMG – they got proper slammed! It was insane in that place and while I am no EuroCup lover, I had an absolute blast.
The Dog and Bear is gorgeous. Its design is comfortable British with antique furniture accents. The wraparound bar might just be one of the biggest I’ve seen – a joy for any beer lover. On this very intense day, the pub definitely reached capacity with fans from both England and Italy. It was frenetic. An Italian girl sitting in the booth next to us even left because she was offended by the Brit’s imitations of the Italian expressions (oooh! ehhh!). Honestly. How can you not expect that when you watch the game at a British pub? And let me just add that this is just a game! LOL.
This vlog is funny – not much about the food (though what we had was yummy), but check out the crazy vibe this place had going on. It was definitely Sunday Funday to the max!
