NBA star Tristan Thompson returns with the 4th Annual Amari Thompson Soiree presented by Roswell Construction on August 9, 2018 at the breathtaking Globe and Mail Centre. It’s an exclusive VIP event in support of Epilepsy Toronto benefiting over 40,000 families across the GTA including the Thompson’s youngest member, Amari, who experiences frequent seizures from the neurological disorder.

The Amari Thompson Fund was created to support epilepsy programs and to provide critical support thousands of families. Epilepsy is a challenging journey, and Thompson recognizes that community support is crucial.

“My brother Amari, has always been the greatest motivational force in my life,” said Thompson. “To see all of these people come together under one roof to support a cause under my little brother’s name means so much. There are so many families who need this support and the Soiree is our way to give back as much as possible”

Hosted by sportscaster Paul Jones, this exciting event brings together celebrities, corporate leaders, politicians, friends, families and community supporters for a night to remember. Guests of the Soiree will enjoy delicious canapés from chef Mark McEwan, refreshments from Nütrl Vodka, Ace Hill Beer, Kim Crawford Wines and Remy Martin.

The main action occurs during the thrilling live auction which features items such as: Night with Nav: A courtside seat with the Raptors Super Fan, Nav Bhattia; Cross Canada Tour (One way trip for two on VIA Rail’s the “Canadian” from Toronto to Vancouver) + return airfare with WestJet; TFC game + a meeting with Tosaint Ricketts and a bottle of Remy Martin XO engraved with Tristan Thompson’s signature plus many more prizes and game tickets!

Guests will preview the trailer for the new movie Little Italy ahead of the World Premiere with a chance to attend the opening night and after party.

There will be a performance by The Luke Newman Quartet. Luke is from Saskatchewan but his family appreciates the services from Epilepsy Toronto while he studies at the University of Toronto.
