Tapestry Opera’s Tapestry Briefs: Tasting Shorts

Tapestry Opera’s Tapestry Briefs: Tasting Shorts presents 11 bold world premiere opera shorts from Canadian and international composers paired with a flight of tapas. Savour this operatic exploration of dramatic flavours that transports one from the salty depths of the Marianas Trench to the sweet sounds of sibling nostalgia. Complete with food and drink pairings from Cacao 70, Spirit of York, Wildly Delicious, Beau’s Brewery and Greg’s Ice Cream.
Tapestry Briefs will feature the work of composers Benton Roark (Bandits in the Valley), Rene Orth, August Murphy-King, Ian Cusson. As well as librettists Colleen Murphy (Oksana G.), Lila Palmer, Daniel Solon, and Kanika Ambrose. Expect performances by Peter McGillivray, Keith Klassen, Teiya Kasahara, Stephanie Tritchew and Jennifer Tung.
