Do you ever wonder what it’s like to work at the world’s top brands? Vv Magazine’s latest series takes you on a virtual tour of some of Canada’s coolest office spaces. First up, Campari Canada.
If you’ve ever sipped on a cocktail, chances are one of the key ingredients featured came from the diverse portfolio of Campari Canada. The company serves as owner, importer, and marketer of Grand Marnier, Aperol, Appleton Estate, SKYY Vodka, and of course, Campari, to name a few.
Just over a year ago, Campari Canada cemented its roots in Toronto’s burgeoning Liberty Village. We spoke with Massimo Mottura, Managing Director of Gruppo Campari Canada to get the views and vibes of the Pardee Avenue office.

Prior to moving in, the 9,500-square-foot building underwent an eight-month renovation – transforming the space from an all-black production facility to an impressive office space with a minimalist aesthetic, subtle Italian details, and a fully stocked in-office bar.
Designed by Toronto firm I-V, the entrance of the lobby is dark blue with low ceilings. A neon sign hanging above the receptionist’s desk reads, “cin cin” (Italian for cheers) and Campari’s impressive brand list dots the dark wall in white.
Inside, a team of 22 staff, also known as “Camparistas”, sit together in a collaborative desk layout. Johnsonite rubber floors absorb the sound of foot traffic and oak walls feature divots to reduce echoes.
And while most of the space is open concept, there are also four meeting rooms and five executive offices, with a sixth coming soon.

The upper floor lounge is a minimalist’s dream. Sparsely furnished with soft pink couches by Sancal and potted greenery, the walls are a clean, crisp white. Four giant skylights let in natural light, making the upper mezzanine a perfect home court for a little office ping-pong.
And of course, an established alcohol distributer’s Canadian head office wouldn’t be complete without an in-house bar!
Located at the front of the building, the bar is where staff get crafty with cocktails during mixology parties, training sessions, cocktail seminars, and tastings. The front bar has also become a favourite gathering spot for noshing with friends during lunchtime. Ingo Maurer Campari pendants, made up of 10 Campari Soda bottles, light up the bar.
