For one weekend only, Torontonians will have the opportunity to eat delicious free Canadian cheeses inside a winter wonderland.
When the clock hits 12:00 am on November 1st, everyone goes into full holiday mode. It hasn’t even begun to snow yet and already publishers have their gift guides up, people are bringing out their festive decor, and ugly Christmas sweaters are hitting shelves.
And this year, Toronto is really ramping up the holiday spirit. Aside from getting the world’s largest Christmas tree, the city will also be home to a giant life-sized snow globe.
From Saturday, November 26th to Sunday, November 27th, the Dairy Farmers of Canada will have a life-sized snow globe in the Distillery District. Visitors will get to savor holiday flavors with free tastings of Canadian Cheese and get to go home with a holiday photo flipbook taken inside the snow globe!
The giant snow globe will be located next to the Toronto Christmas Market Ticket Sales Tent, on Trinity Street between Mill Street and Front Street East. They’ll be open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm on Saturday the 26th and from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm on Sunday the 27th. Best of all, the life-sized snow globe is free to enter!
