The VIBE inside One&Only The Palm Dubai

A secluded luxury oasis tucked away on the tip of The Palm, Dubai

As my Dubai trip was coming to an end, I was fortunate enough to stay at the One&Only The Palm for my last night. Very excited about this boutique luxury hotel and my first experience staying with One&Only Resorts. A perfect hotel for couples or families who want to take a more luxurious, private vacation. You have the choice between manors, mansions and villas. Everything you need is right on site. The views are spectacular, the food is on point and the vibe is calm and relaxing.

I had less than 24 hrs so didn’t waste anytime and arrived at 10am. They were very accommodating and I was delightfully welcomed and greeted with a refreshing ‘Morning Energiser’ juice. The service and management team was flawless and I was well taken care. Before I was shown to my beautiful villa room, coffee and breakfast at Zest was mandatory with a view overlooking the pool, palm trees and city skyline.

The Location

One&Only has one of the most unique spots available at The Palm Jumeirah. Located at the outermost tip of the crescent, One&Only gives you views of Dubai city skyline, luxurious private estates and, of course, the never-ending waters of the Arabian Gulf.

This boutique luxury property always feels secluded no matter how many people are in the hotel – its always a quiet and secluded vibe here.

There are infinite hidden chill spots within the resort. If you really want to get away from the busy Dubai city streets, this is exactly what you need.

The Room

With entire manors, mansions, and villas all to yourself, there is nothing but peaceful uninterrupted relaxation ahead. Villas have as many as 8 units available, and you can choose to rent out the entire villa for yourself (or more likely for that big family trip when you still need some time away from the kids… or the parents). Beachfront villas offer a single unit option where even your room feels like it’s in another world.

Even in a single unit villa, you’ll have access to your own private terrace punctuated with tanning beds, a cute outdoor coffee table, and of course that picturesque beachfront view.

Relaxation and convenience are at your fingertips inside the One&Only’s rooms. And that 5-star personal service was always on point.

You’ll always be able to book a private cabana right outside your beachfront walkout, and if you’ve got a mansion, you have your very own private beach cabanas included. Villa single units very comfortably host couples with plenty of room to spare. Let the morning air calm you while you sip coffee from the in-unit kitchenette, or sleep the morning away in your grand king-sized bed.

The Bathroom

Inside the rooms, you’ll not only get  a comfortable amount of space, but the bathrooms are quite impressive too. On one side, you have an over-sized almost walk-in closet and on the other side, his and her sinks along with high-end eco-friendly toiletries. In the centre of it all is an over-sized tub with a view out to the terrace. The showers were spacious and had all the right fixtures, temperature and water pressure. (this is something I really appreciate)

The Amenities

The One&Only Resort grounds is quite extravagant. Want a break from relaxing to get your daily workout in? Hit the world-class gym with various one-on-one training and classes available and state of the art equipment, technology, training, boxing, and Prama – an interactive and immersive training program.

The One&Only’s main pool feature is the absolute highlight and there’s more than enough room to wander away.

The Spa

One&Only The Palm has the UAE’s only world-renowned Guerlain Spa offering signature rituals exclusively created for the One&Only. Offering Spa Treatments for couples, singles and men, this luxury experience is a must try. I had the opportunity to squeeze in a massage and facial. The experience was extremely relaxing at the Guerlain Spa and they lived up to all their promises. If you’ve never been to the Guerlain Spa, I highly recommend it with your significant other – especially here at the One&Only The Palm.

The Eats

Let the food take you to a whole new world with One&Only’s three on-site restaurants. Whether you’re in the mood for fresh tropical seafood at 101, famous breakfasts, lunches or brunches at Zest, or want to bask in the stunning décor at STAY by Chef  Yannick Alléno, there is no shortage of succulent options.

Zest gives you casual breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Peruse their organic, herbal, and fusions teas, fresh fruit juices, smoothies, or “Morning Energisers” like the “Secret Garden”.

Take the boardwalk to restaurant 101 for One&Only’s unique, modern, and engaging dining experience. With seafood to die for and ambiance for miles, 101 hovers above the crystal clear waters to offer you some of the best seafood in Dubai.

I recommend the Wild Sea Bass and Prawn Ceviche, but suggest trying more combinations of the light salads, pastas and meat dishes. They also offer boat service from their sister property One&Only Royal Mirage across the Marina (on mainland) where non-guests and guests alike can head over for a lunch or dinner experience.

101’s sexy all-white honeycomb bar decor was a true stand-out. Give some of their refreshing cocktails a taste test and don’t forget to check out the stunning champagne bar.

For dessert, 101 has a Mango Ravioli that is a truly unique creation of sweet, refreshing, and fruity goodness. I suggest you don’t skip the dessert here 😉

STAY by 3-star Michelin chef Yannick Alléno takes the romance and luxury to a whole new level.

Prepare for exquisite French cuisine curated down to the last detail with delicate and classic plating that will make you think you’re actually in Paris. The European French decor only highlights the already stand-out wines, champagnes, amuse-bouches, mains, and desserts offered at STAY.

Their feature pastry library is an absolute must if you’re going to finish off your meal the right way. I’ll keep it a surprise for you. (ask your waiter/waitress about this 😉

The Standout Feature

I absolutely loved how secluded, discreet, and hidden, this place was. A lot of retired athletes and celebrities looking for relaxation and discretion often choose One&Only The Palm for their standout Dubai getaway.
