This year, Operanation will have guests living (or at least looking,) like villains for a charitable cause. The theme takes inspiration from one of opera’s most notable villains, the Queen of the Night from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s The Magic Flute.
The night will include a spectacular performance by the Canadian electro-pop band, Dragonette. Alongside musical performances, guests will also have the opportunity to rub elbows with some of Toronto’s finest, nibble on yummy hors d’oeuvres, sip on delicious cocktails, take in one-of-a-kind art installations, a massive chocolate display, and much, much more.
Tickets are on sale now for $150, with all of the proceeds going to COC’s Ensemble Studio, the nation’s premier training centre for young Canadian opera artists. Grab your tickets here and some outfit inspiration here.
