If you’ve fried or dyed your hair, or even managed to do both over the course of summer 2014, you can actually restore your locks to better health in time for fall (read: TIFF) while getting a back, neck and scalp massage at the same time. Two birds, one beauty/grooming treatment. Intrigued?
The newly opened SeeFu Yorkville hair salon at 120 Cumberland Street (2nd floor), the second salon location from the owners of SeeFu Hair on Spadina Avenue, offers 30-minute conditioning treatments using restorative conditioners from John Masters Organics to repair dry, damaged hair. Stylists tailor products to clients’ specific hair needs, and start the treatment after shampooing hair by applying products with a scalp massage at the sink (featuring comfy reclining beds instead of chairs), followed by a back and neck massage under the rotating hair dryer as the products’ nourishing ingredients penetrate the hair shaft. It’s our new favourite way to relax while also feeling like we did something good for our hair. The service, for both men and women, is between $30 to $40 depending on the length of your hair. Blowouts are not included but can be added to the cost for an additional $25 to $40 depending on the experience level of the stylist.
