We’ve a new spot to fancy up our fingers with the very recent opening of Sekai Nail and Beauty Bar. This vibrant new purveyor of beauty brings clean lines to the Queen West strip, with lovely white armchairs playing a bright contrast to the esoteric woods found beneath at the pedicure stations, ethereal texture created on the tiled walls, and minimalist furniture rounding out the vibe. Sekai’s services range from facials, to various massage styles (including pre-natal), to threading and waxing, and of course, anything and everything to do with beautifying hands and feet. Sekai means world in Japanese, and that’s exactly what they’ve created – an intimate world of pampering.
