Over this past weekend, Lot No. 40 hosted the #TheNewOldFashioned Night Market and if you weren’t there, you definitely missed out. We got a chance to go and taste their cocktails, browse the local vendors, and enjoy the live music by local artists in a really cool venue. Such an overall great way to spend a Saturday night!

Lot No. 40 is a classic Canadian whiskey, with 7 generations of brewing innovation.
At #TheNewOldFashioned Night Market, we got a chance to speak with Chris Bhowmik, Lot No. 40’s Brand Director Canadian Whisky & Gin. He gave us the scoop on Lot No. 40, their signature cocktails, and the Night Market and restaurant collaborations. They were all about supporting local, an along with Lot No. 40, there were some local vendors at the market including: Colour Code Printing, Female Treble, Parwana Handmade Paper, The Apothecary Boys and Spare Label.
Don’t worry if you didn’t get a chance to make it out (assuming you didn’t keep taps on our “Going Down” calendar). You haven’t entirely missed out. This month only, at the 4 participating restaurants, including: Viaggio, Maple Leaf Tavern, Mahjong Bar, and Poor Romeo, you can drop in and try the following 4 cocktails at their respective restaurants:
Viaggio’s Old Fashioned – Available at Viaggio
Paper Trails – Available at the Maple Leaf Tavern
Spaceboy – Available at Mahjong Bar
Seven Seas of Rye – Available at Poor Romeo
