No one had to walk 500 miles to hear The Proclaimers put on a wild show at the Sunshine on Leith after-party at TIFF 2013. The film, which is actually based on a stage musical based on The Proclaimers songs, debuted at TIFF to much fan fare. Directed by English character actor Dexter Fletcher – best known this side of the pond for his work in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels – Sunshine on Leith tells the tale of Edinburgh family with a set of love problems on their hands that come to life via The Proclaimers songs.
