Our appetites are more than engaged now that one of our favourite Italian spots has opted to open the doors for a midday meal and weekend brunch at their Railtown locale.
Starting now, Ask For Luigi is set to welcome hungry diners for lunch service (Tuesday to Friday from 11:30am – 2:30pm) at their cozy little eclectic abode at 305 Alexander Street.
Break away from the desk and head down for an Italian style feast. Order up their crispy polenta and taleggio cheese (a fan favourite) and chase it with one of their amazing sandwiches (we recommend the spicy capicollo, provolone, and pepper for a bit of a kick in the pants).
You can literally roll out of bed come Saturday and Sunday mornings… and right on down for a bite of brunch. Ask For Luigi’s new wickedly good brunch menu is dished out starting at 9:30am to 2:30pm and is loaded with tantalizing offerings.
We recommend ordering a bunch of plates and doing it up ‘family style’ if you go. The zucchini frittata is to die for, as is their Monte Cristo sandwich, and waffles with apples, toasted hazelnuts, and tiramisu crema. Need we say more?
Brunch bonus: Come in for brunch on Saturday and Sunday before 10am and you’ll score yourself a complimentary loaf of their house-baked white chocolate banana bread with whipped butter.
Salivate to your heart’s content and see the goods at Ask for Luigi. We recommend calling ahead to make a reservation as tables are coveted.
