If this past year has taught us anything, it’s that working on our fitness, checking-in on our mental health and getting outside are definitely essentials to leading a full and healthy lifestyle. That said, crossing out these essentials from the healthy lifestyle checklist can be much easier said than done. Not everyone has the time or the luxury to complete all of these activities at the rate that would best suit them. So, although this article might not present an ‘end all be all’/perfect solution, it sure will help a lot.
Finding a nice park to workout at is a great way to work on our fitness, a fantastic excuse to get outside and, overall, will subsequently have a positive impact on our mental health. So, the following are some parks throughout The 6ix that feature plenty of room for cardio, cool calisthenics equipment for strength training, and have some pretty nice scenery to help with enjoying the outdoors.

Located just Southwest of Danforth Avenue and Pape Avenue, Withrow Park looks like it came straight out of a feel-good Hollywood movie. This beautiful park features a full calisthenics outdoor gym as well as plenty of room to move around for some cardio. Speaking of Danforth Avenue, the many restaurants along the major road makes this park a great location if you are someone who loves a healthy post-workout snack.
