People in the United States spend roughly 10 hours planning and preparing for a party.

Putting a guest list together, planning meals/ beverages, and getting the house together can take quite a bit of time, no matter how fast you work.

Fortunately, there are many shortcuts and ways to lessen the load and amplify the fun.

Continue reading to discover some of the best party hacks that you can try for your next gathering!

1. KISS

‘Keep it simple silly!’

One of the best party hacks to follow is to keep it simple. The more complex your party gets, the more room there is for stress and errors. Simple cocktails with a small list of ingredients are recommended so that you save money and time. If you want more convenient drinks, try something bottled! You should also keep food options simple so that you’re not stuck in the kitchen.

Parties are about being together and at the moment, just put some music on and have fun!

2. Party Safely

This year, holidays and celebrations have been a little different from what the norm is.

With COVID cases on the rise, you must make sure everyone coming, and yourself, are being safe. Many hosts are recommending to leave masks and hand sanitizers around the house for people to use. You should also limit the number of guests and try to spread out when talking and eating.

One hack you can try is to make a challenge for anyone that breaks “rules” that will help keep guests safe.

3. Be Resourceful in the Kitchen

A party hack that many people use is to be resourceful with what you already have.

You shouldn’t have to go out of your way to get beverage garnishes and food garnishes. The next time you chop up celery or herbs, save the tops of them. The tops of celery stalks offer some of the best flavors and are perfect for Bloody Mary’s and other drinks.

Another hack to try that involves being resources is to use your blender. You can quickly make drinks and even guacamole for guests!

4. Use Technology

Technology will likely become your best friend if you want to plan a party with ease.

By creating an invitation online or through social media, you can easily track who is coming and only prepare for what you need. Online invitations allow you to communicate with guests and provide them all of the details in one place.

With this hack, you won’t be repeating yourself to everyone because they have a single reference point and can ask questions there.

Party Hacks You Must Try

Parties are meant for celebrations and fun times, unfortunately, if you don’t plan right, they can go terribly wrong.

With these party hacks, you can host the best get together of the season and impress your guests. A good party has simple food and drinks that have ingredients most people will like. Avoid getting too creative, as it eats up more of your time and money.

Don’t forget to turn on music and take pictures of the celebration, you can even post them for everyone to see on the invitation page.
