It’s multiple stories high and comes equipped with a full arcade. Not only that, but customers can enjoy other entrees instead of burgers and fries. That’s right, if you don’t want a double cheeseburger, you don’t have to eat one.
This McDonald’s sells pasta, pizza, and even includes a full dessert bar. This place is a must-see!
2. Wekiwa Springs
Orlando even has a lot to offer to nature lovers. If you’re planning a trip to Orlando and you don’t really want to get into the theme park scene, Wekiwa Springs is a good place to visit.
It’s a beautiful place to have a picnic and just take a stroll through beautiful scenery. The park offers water activities like kayaking, snorkeling, and canoeing. You can even go cycling or take a hike if water sports aren’t your thing.
Essentially, Wekiwa Springs allows families to enjoy each other in a gorgeous, laid-back setting.
3. Orlando City Soccer Club
Where are all the soccer fans at? When you think of the family activities in Orlando, soccer may not come to mind. However, the Orlando City Stadium is home to the Orlando City Soccer Club.
It’s the latest inductee into the Major League Soccer Eastern Conference. The great thing about Orlando is that it has amazing weather most of the time.
So even while you’re outside watching the game, the climate allows for comfortable conditions. This place is a must-see if you and your family enjoy soccer.
4. Universal City Walk
One of the many fun things to do in Orlando is to walk around Universal City Walk. This place is great for everyone in the family. There are tons of restaurants and activities going on, so you never get bored.
It’s great for older teens who may not be interested in Disney World. However, there are plenty of bars and clubs available for adults to enjoy a little” grown-up fun” as well. When you’re planning an Orlando vacation, be sure to include this place.
5. Harry P. Leu Gardens
Another fantastic family-oriented place to visit is Harry P. Leu Gardens. This place is a beautiful garden that’s completely breathtaking. Most of the garden houses include more than 1,000 rose bushes and this place features one of the biggest collections of camellias in North America.
And to top it all off, there is a beautiful butterfly garden, which is one of the main attractions. But keep in mind that not all of the sites are open all year round. For example, the rose bushes are only in season between April and January.
6. Disney World
While it was important to add variety to this list, we couldn’t exclude Disney World. This place is a kid’s dream—no matter how old you are. Who doesn’t love Mickey and Minnie Mouse?
When it comes to Disney World, there are so many sites to see. There’s Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and so much more. This is a place that everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime!
If you are thinking about fun things to do in Orlando, don’t skip Disney. If your kids have never gone to Disney World, treat them with a trip to Mickey Mouse’S house.

7. Busch Gardens
If you’ve already been to Disney World and you want to go somewhere different for your Orlando vacation visit Busch gardens. This place is incredible and it’s pretty much an animal lover’s paradise. You get to explore all types of animals, while even going through a mock safari.
Busch Gardens is perfect for all members of the family. However, it’s important to note that Busch Gardens is about an hour and a half away from Orlando. So, if you want to take a day trip outside of the city, this place is a fantastic option.
SeaWorld is another awesome place to visit whenever you go to Orlando. Who doesn’t love watching aquatic life play right in front of their eyes? Not only can the family enjoy live entertainment, but they are also lots of exhibits and roller coaster rides at SeaWorld.
It’s another incredible alternative for individuals who’ve already experienced Disney World. Even if you don’t have children, SeaWorld is just a cool place to visit either way.
