Is it really spring and summer without lots of foodie markets? Especially if you’re like me when it comes to enjoying a nice midnight snacks. Luckily, a fun one to look forward to is the Pinoy Night Market. The event is taking place in partnership between Pinay Tayo Toronto and the Street Eats Market.

This food market is being hosted in June, which is Filipino Heritage Month in Canada. It is meant to shine the spotlight on the many contributions by the Filipino community in the country. It’s a continually growing community, with almost one million people of Filipino descent being Canadian residents.
The Filipino night market has a variety of vendors as part of the lineup. Some of these include restaurants like iSLAS, Wilson’s Haus of Lechon, and bakeries like The Night Baker, The Creative Cakery, NieceyBakes an many more.
It’s not just food that you’ll be able to enjoy during the three-day event. Live performances, artistic and cultural activities are also going to be hosted. The Filipino night market will be happening at the Scarborough Town Centre from June 24 – 26. You can check it out on those three days from 4pm to 12am.
Throughout the summer months, Street Eats is set to host their own food festivals as well. You can get your hands on some of the city’s best burgers, fried chicken, tacos, and poutine, to name a few.
