The range of diverse foods in Asian cuisine is huge, so naturally there’s a whole festival dedicated to this culinary realm. From street foods to sweet and savoury dishes and drinks, there’s lots to look forward to at this year’s edition of Taste of Asia. One of the most anticipated things however, is a hotpot tower placed on top of bubble tea! Yep, you read that right. The creation is being introduced to the festival by Liuyishou Hotpot.
Taste of Asia
It’s exactly as the name sounds. You’ve got a cup of fruit bubble tea at the bottom, which is then topped with a spicy hotpot tray. The hotpot itself has some wild toppings. We’re talking shrimps, a quail egg, beef and the works.
Liuyishou Hotpot, which has more than 1,000 locations worldwide, specialises in a unique variety of hotpot items with meat and vegetable ingredients.

This isn’t the only thing that’s bound to catch some attention from visitors. There’s going to be rice hot dogs, tornado fries, BBQ squid, and Roji Monster ice cream, among plenty of other F&B offerings.
Dubbed as Canada’s largest Asian festival, the Taste of Asia fest is taking place from June 24-26. It’s located at Kennedy Rd & Steeles Avenue East.
