Say what you will about malls. Sometimes they’re crowded, parking can be a pain, and nowadays we’re stuck lining up outside our fave stores. However, you just can’t beat the convenience of shopping a wide selection of stores all in one place. One Toronto mall has just revealed what new stores are coming your way and we can hardly wait.
Yorkdale Shopping Centre has just shared with us what new stores will be opening their doors this year. From skincare to activewear and everything in between, Yorkdale is getting a shopping refresh and you don’t want to miss out!
The mall is known for being one of Canada’s premier shopping destinations and offers shoppers a luxury experience with affordable options. Some of the brands expanding to the mall will be opening their first Canadian locations. “We’re seeing tremendous momentum and interest from retailers and brands, many of which are opening their first Canadian locations or flagship locations here,” said William Correira, Director, Yorkdale Shopping Centre. “All our retailers have strong consumer demand. Introducing such a significant number of new stores and restaurants in the next few months reinforces our optimism in the retail sector and its bright future.”
Luxury brands Alexander McQueen and Celine have chosen Yorkdale as the home of their first Canadian boutiques. Also added to the luxe sector are Aesop and Jo Malone.
If fitness and activewear are more your jam, get excited because Nike and Athleta are coming soon as well as Ray-Ban. The Nike flagship is set to be the largest in the entire country coming in at a whopping 24,000 square feet. Have your appetites ready because Yu Seafood and Konjiki Ramen are on the way.
These new additions to the already incredible shopping centre will account for 56,653 square feet of new retail space.
