Gather around, Disney fans! Whether you’re a casual fan or a hardcore enthusiast, the upcoming immersive exhibit might be for you. The city is gearing up to host the Disney Animation: Immersive Experience, which is presented by Lighthouse Immersive. Sound familiar? That’s because it’s the same team that also organized Immersive Van Gogh and Immersive Klimt.
Disney in Toronto
You’ll be able to check out the exhibition starting on December 21 this year. It involves a journey featuring classics from the Walt Disney Animation Studios, which include both the old and new. I’m talking Frozen, Aladdin, Encanto and more.
Visitors are invited to feel like they’re a part of the stories, through all the visuals and music. Similar to the other Lighthouse exhibits, this too will feature a range of 3D projections, visuals and images to transport the visitor.
“I’ve grown up with them [Disney films] since childhood and so has my family. The work lends itself brilliantly to the immersive experience and I am confident this program will give our guests the opportunity to be engulfed in the world of Disney, making them feel like they’re standing next to their favourite characters and seeing the world through their eyes,” Lighthouse Immersive founder Corey Ross stated in a press release.
Tickets for this Disney in Toronto exhibit are now available for purchase online. It will be taking place at 1 Yonge Street.
