Ever since Superfresh opened its doors earlier this year, it’s been a stop for many to fix their Asian food cravings. The Asian night market in Toronto features vendors serving foods from all parts of the continent. For a limited-time only, they’ve also teamed up with Bopomofo, with the bubble tea brand set to host a pop-up at the market. This is part of Freshfest, which is being held as a celebration of Asian culture in North America.

Bopomofo, which originally hails from California, will be at Superfresh on July 9 from 12pm – 5pm. This also marks the brand’s first ever international pop-up! The LA location is a favourite among non-celebs and celebs alike. The store has received visits from Asian stars like Simu Liu, Kevin Kreider, and Anupam Tripathi.
Most recently, you can also catch Umbrella Academy’s Justin H. Min in a new episode of “Spill the Boba Tea” at Bopo. Given the range of drinks and unique flavours available at the café, it’s no surprise that it has caught the attention of many.
The menu includes different classic teas, premium signatures, matcha, and espresso. Bopomofo also offers specific seasonal drinks with a combination of espresso, fruits and more.
Other vendors at Freshfest are going to be Mindzai (toy shop), Crep Protect (sneaker care products and the CCYAA Merch Market. You can also indulge in dishes and drinks from the regular vendors and restaurants featured at Superfresh. Enjoy everything from Japanese sandwiches and bao to noodle soups and Mochi muffins.
