Toronto Fashion Week is officially here and boy has it started with a bang! To start the week, I had an opportunity to attend an incredible Essie workshop hosted by the talented Rita Remark. Rita is the lead nail artist for Essie who’s working on an impressive roster of designers for fashion week this year. At the workshop, we were taught how to create an impressive ombre effect with our nails (a Pinterest-worthy DIY, might I add). Though my nails were most definitely not on par with her runway art, I did take something back from the workshop and that was the Essie Quick-E Drying Drops. I’m almost certain that this little bottle was bestowed upon me from the nail gods above.
Now, I’m no expert when it comes to matters of the nails. Regardless of whether I do them myself or I go to the salon to get them done, within mere seconds of applying the finishing touches to my talons I always end up ruining them by touching something. Without fail, they will get ruined. Never have I had perfect nails for more than 5 minutes… that was until this baby came into my life. One drop per nail was all it took for my nails to be fully dry (in seconds) and ready for the world to lust after! After applying these drops, I had put on my parka forgetting that just seconds ago I had applied a fresh manicure. Lo and behold, my nails were chip-free and still perfect! I was in awe and knew I had to have this product in my life forever. Perfect for the woman on the go… but, for real! Swipe on your favourite nail varnish and top it off with these life-saving drops and your nails will be looking fresh and still intact just in time for your favourite show at the tents.
Essie Quick-E Drying Drops can be bought online here or in-stores at Shoppers Drug Mart for $10.
