Before I introduce you to this lifesaving hair mask, let me give you some critical information about my hair. I have a combination of South Asian, Persian and East African genes, and unlike the rest of my family I ended up having a serious mixture of all three displayed in my mane. My hair is tremendously thick, frantically frizzy, and wonderfully wavy (that is, when it wants to be, of course). On top of that lovely mess, my hair grows like you wouldn’t believe. In the wintertime especially, my hair (like my skin) gets extremely dry and even frizzier – just my luck, right? I kept reading about hair masks in magazines and blogs but always thought they were bogus… until I found this baby!
This OGX Repairing Awapuhi Ginger Instant Recovery Mask by Organix is god-sent, that’s for sure. After using this once, I immediately felt a difference in my hair. It was stronger, and it felt like this mask somehow quenched my hair’s thirst. The ginger ingredients weren’t as overwhelming as I thought they would be. Rather, they ended up making my hair smell quite fresh and tropical. I was actually in awe at how amazing this product was. Oh, and the best part? It’s at a wonderful $9.99 price point. I mean at the end of the day, I didn’t spend a fortune on my (newly) luscious locks and I got to rack in some Optimum points from Shoppers Drug Mart.
If you’re one with sensitive skin or sulphate allergies then this product is perfect for you. All Organix products are made with sulfate-free surfactants – they contain no lauryls or laureth sulfates.
The Repairing Awapuhi Ginger Instant Recovery Mask by Organix is available at most Shoppers Drug Marts for $9.99.
