Blind Item: A bankruptcy under the radar
Juice factor: 8/10
This beloved Canadian business is trying to keep its financial woes out of the press in hopes of not being boycotted entirely due to its bad business plan in the last few years, which has led to the brand most recently losing its most iconic storefront.
Aunt Viv isn’t cool about it…
Juice factor: 8/10
Janet Hubert, who played Aunt Vivian on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, criticized Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, after she announced she’d be boycotting the Academy Awards, on Monday, January 18. Hubert said, “I’ve been trying to figure out: Do I really want to do this? Yeah, I do… Today, being the celebration of Martin Luther King’s birthday and hitting 60 years old … I want to say something to Jada Pinkett Smith asking other black actors to boycott the Oscars. First of all, Miss Thing: Does your man not have a mouth of his own with which to speak?” Will Smith, after all, was nominated for a best actor Golden Globe for his role in Concussion but did not make the Academy’s 2016 list of nominees. According to Hubert, that’s no surprise, saying she didn’t think he deserved the Golden Globe nomination either. Bitter much?
Blind item: Once a cheater, always a cheater…
Juice factor: 9/10
This picture-perfect Canadian couple have never shied away from representing brands under their umbrella…. That was until this year when the female half of the one-time happy equation found love outside of the marriage. Although the formerly happy couple have tried to keep the affair under wraps, it looks like their not-so happy long-time love story might be coming public knowledge after all. Besides, it’s not like the affair ever actually ended…
Is Donald Trump’s new endorsement a plus or a minus?
Juice Factor: No words
Trump’s new best buddy, Sarah Palin, has officially endorsed him for candidacy. Whether this will help him or not is perhaps the most important problem. The endorsement comes just hours before Palin’s son, Track, was arrested for domestic violence crime and possession of a firearm while intoxicated. As per The New York Daily News, Track allegedly punched and kicked his girlfriend and then held a rifle near his head and threatened to kill himself. He allegedly said, “Do you think I’m a pussy?” and “Do you think I won’t do it?”. Yikes. We wonder how good of an endorsement Trump just got when Palin’s kids seem to always put her in the hot waters of the public eye. Let’s not forget that her daughter has had two kids out of wedlock with two different gents. Best of luck Donald!

Blind item: Toronto musician with a not-so common drug problem
Juice factor: 8/10
This Toronto-based artist has definitely enjoyed attention for all his talents, even if some of those had more to do with his looks than his skill level as a musician. That’s why it comes as little but ultimately no surprise that apparently his preferred drug of choice is fen-phen, a once popular diet drug taken off the market in the late 90s.
