Halloween is right around the corner, which means it’s time to start celebrating all things frightful and horrific. Celebrate the spookiest month of the year by getting the sh*t scared out of you at one of the several hair-raising haunted houses in and around Toronto. From castles to warehouses to theme parks, these haunted houses in Toronto will make you fear for your life (in the best way possible).
Legends of Horror at Casa Loma
If you ever thought Casa Loma would make an epic Haunted House, you’re not alone. The castle has been transformed into a frightful place of nightmares and ghoulish things by Liberty Entertainment Group. Titled Legends of Horror, the immersive theatrical interpretation of classic horror stories is bound to get your blood pumping. Tours are happening every night from now until Halloween for $40 to $45.

Toronto’s Horror Hallways
Think you can handle the darkness? Toronto’s newest haunted attraction, Horror Hallways, transports you to the depths of hell in a seemingly never-ending maze of horror. Located at 401 Mini Indy by Dixon Road, the haunted maze features a wide range of spooky spectacles and is open until October 31st. Tickets are $15 or $10 per person with groups of five or more.
Screemers
The scare is everywhere at Screemers! Canada’s number one indoor scream park features seven terrifying haunts, carnival rides, and a bone-chilling magic show. #LiveTheFear from now until Halloween with tours happening every Thursday to Sunday. Tickets cost $22.54 to $47.50
Frolick in the Face of Certain Death
“Frolick in the face of certain death” at Frolick Theatre’s interactive dinner show and haunting. This is not your typical haunted house, as it takes place in the abandoned Umbrella Corporation warehouse. You’ll be chaperoned by mediums, historians, and inmates to discover what terrifying event led to the company’s untimely demise. Adult tickets cost $30, students $15 or families of four or more $80.
Haunted Walk Toronto
Looking to experience a Halloween haunt that’s both scary and historical? Haunted Walk Toronto is as real as it gets! Your guide on these outdoor tours will tell real-life ghost stories about some of the city’s popular locales, including Ghosts of University of Toronto, The Mackenzie House Experience, Black Creek Pioneer Village and Ghosts and Spirits of the Distillery. Haunted SCHOOL
Have a spooky bite at SCHOOL restaurant this Halloween (if you can stomach it!!). The restaurant will be transformed into a haunted house on Halloween night from 7pm to 10pm. Admission is free with a non-perishable food item, which will be donated to the Food Bank.
Halloween Haunt
Halloween Haunt at Canada’s Wonderland has undoubtedly become an October mainstay and for good reason. If one of the nine mazes, six scare zones or three shows doesn’t freak you out, all the ghouls and frightful creatures running a muck sure will. Tickets start at $33.99 for Haunt admission – get ready for a truly terrifying time.
