Nothing brings people together more than a lovely meal together. And a live band can bring that meal to life. That authentic ambiance that’s created while you enjoy meaningful conversation with friends and loved ones. We’ve gone to Dubai and rounded up the best places to check out for restaurants with a live band.
Located inside Atlantis, The Palm I personally had a fantastic dinner experience here – one of the best meals in Dubai. For sure, the best steak (sorry The Exchange Grill). Chef Raymond Wong delivered on all his promises and the best part; I was there on a Saturday when they their live Jazz Band was playing. The band was fire and overall such a lovely dining experience. I highly recommend it.
Located at the beautiful Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, MusicHall is an upscale restaurant with tons of live shows. You can watch Flamenco dancing or an array of singers of Spanish influence and even Russian Folk singing or some Reggae music. There’s no shortage of live entertainment here, so be ready to get up out of your seat every once and a while to join the liveliest of atmospheres at MusicHall Dubai.
Located right at Madinat Jumeirah’s beautiful waterways and beach setting, Trader Vic’s has you covered on a fun night out. Take the night off and party it up at Trader Vic’s which boasts an interesting Tikki theme. Their live bands can get pretty loud so if you want to sit, eat, enjoy the music then this place is exactly what you’re looking for. You get great food and some great music to let your thoughts disappear into.
The Hard Rock Cafés are universal for their great food and chilled rocker atmosphere. Dubai’s Hard Rock features an amazing live stage for performances, so if you’re looking to catch the live bands, make sure you know when they’re playing! Located along Dubai Creek and inside Dubai Festival City Mall, you’ll never have to worry about a dull moment at the Hard Rock Café. It’s a great place to stop by for lunch while you’re exploring the ins and outs of everything Dubai has to offer.
Maxx Music Bar is located right outside the Mall of the Emirates, so if you’re tired of shopping around one of the largest malls in the world — it even features an indoor Ski Resort! — then head over to Maxx Music Bar to wind down. This place gives you much more of a club atmosphere complete with a dance floor, lots of drinks, and food. It’s definitely the place to party with their live music and even livelier atmosphere.
The Nay Restaurant & Lounge comes alive at night when they bring out the live performances, including singing and belly dancing. This authentic Lebanese-style restaurant will give you chic Arabian palace vibes and even more fun in the evenings. With food ranging from fresh fruits and vegetables to steaming seafood, you’ll be aching to stop by Nay Restaurant & Lounge for an authentic Emirati experience.
This rooftop lounge also doubles as a superb hangout spot with some great live music. It’s located within the Four Seasons Hotel which is right by the beach. It’s a great location for a fancier night out, and if you’re looking for the band we recommend visiting on a Thursday night. With views of the Burj Khalifa as you sip on a creative cocktail or sit down for a more substantial meal, you’ll feel like you’ve been drifted away to another world.
Located in the boulevard right outside Dubai Mall, you know you’re experiencing the heart of everything Dubai city has to offer. The Grand Café serves Lebanese-style food with authentic Arabian live music to pepper your meal’s soundtrack. There also might even be some live performances but make sure you stop by on a weekend to get the most out of the Café’s live entertainment. There’s no better place to taste authentic Dubai food with authentic Dubai cultural music and performances.
