These shoes were made for walking, but take them off for just a sec.
It’s been eight years since the ubiquitous canvas TOMS shoes jumped onto the scene with all their customizable designs and diverse prints. They basically became our feet’s best friends. What began as a simple, laid-back flat has evolved into everything from flip-flops to sandals to even wedges. And of course, in exchange for these snazzy canvases, TOMS donates a pair of shoes to a child in Haiti, Guatemala, Rwanda, South Africa, Argentina, Ethiopia or the United States.

But now TOMS is giving back even more. From now until May 21, Instagram a picture of yourself barefoot with the hashtag #withoutshoes and TOMS will provide a free pair of shoes to a child in need.
So whip out those toes, find some natural light and flaunt those feet in all their glory – it’s OK, you can probably find a decent filter to blur out that chipped nail polish. Prepare for your Insta to be infiltrated with feet. But hey, who doesn’t love lending a hand (or a foot)? As Marilyn once said, give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world.
