Supporting Sustainable Eating & Living With Local Producers
Calii Love is committed to using as many local producers as possible and here’s a list of all of their partnerships:
- We The Roots: an indoor vertical farm in Toronto that uses a filtered water system and
engineered lighting to grow their year-round greens. The greens are non-GMO and pesticide-free.
- Daily Seafood: a Toronto-based shop committed to providing Ocean Wise Certified fish, providing Calii Love fresh tuna and salmon that is caught sustainably.
- Bondi Produce: a Toronto-based company that works with local farms to provide seasonal produce.
- Ocean Wise Plastic Reduction Program: a program dedicated to reducing unnecessary plastic from our food chain and keeping the oceans free from plastic.
“We all have a role to play in sustainability, and we will continue our work to ensure that our practices are both ethical and sustainable. For example, our packaging is either recyclable or compostable. We use biodegradable straws and cutlery. We source our food in the most sustainable manner, and we will continue to offer more seasonal menu items to highlight local produce,” Calii Love said.
