It’s National Takeout Day on the 15th of April, and we couldn’t be more excited to show some love to some of our local favourites. No matter the cuisine, we wanted to make it easy for you to pick and choose a place. And that is a why we’ve got a list of restaurants for you to browse by category.
We also wanted to highlight the fact that National Takeout Day has an extra bit of oomph this year. Canada Takeout is challenging Canadians to set a national takeout record in support of the foodservice industry. Want to get involved? All you have to do is order takeout on Thursday, 15th April and upload a photo of the receipt to the Takeout Tracker online. Restaurants and foodservice operators can take part by labelling their receipts as ‘takeout’ on 15th April. The Tracker will go live on Thursday and it will track the takeout submissions by city all over Canada.
SkipTheDishes is joining in to do their part as well, by offering free delivery in Toronto on 15th April! The Skip Network currently has 38,000 restaurant partners and the platform is available in over 250 cities and towns in Canada.
