Public gatherings may be cancelled for now, but that doesn’t mean we can’t adapt. Celebrate Toronto set to have a virtual event to honour the city’s 187th anniversary this year. The primary focus will be on three key pillars; “Rebuild, Reconnect, Show Love”.
The festival aims to highlight small businesses and artists that contribute to the city’s magical vibes. It will also feature a number of live performances and even a DJ Video Dance Party. Residents will have a chance to support local through the Toronto Made Market. There will be 100 local vendors on the roster and the market will run virtually throughout the festival.
Viewers can also can take part in the #RemiDanceChallenge to win Celebrate Toronto Branded Gear. This involves showing off your moves with the choreographed dance routine by the mascot, Remi the Raccoon.

The festival includes various games and contests like Toronto Trivia. As for the musical segment, there are going to be performances by Queen Pepper and The Queen’s Own Rifles Band & Bugles. Additionally, Celebrate Toronto is in support of DonateTO this year to raise funds for Covid19 Relief & Recovery.
The festival will take place for one month, from March 6th – April 6th, 2021.
