Beyond the films themselves, one of the most exciting aspects of the Toronto International Film Festival is witnessing the evolution of celebrity style. After two years of cancellations, the stars finally had a chance to bring their fashion A-game to the TIFF red carpet. Dive into the glamorous world of celebrity fashion as we explore what the stars wore to celebrate the premieres of their latest movies.
Here are our editors’ favourite TIFF red carpet looks from those best dressed this year:
Harry Styles
Our VIBE cover star Harry Styles arrived at the film festival in an all-green monochromatic Gucci outfit. Green served as a very flattering colour on the star and we can’t help but wonder what he brought in his handbag. Despite all the drama surrounding his movie Don’t Worry Darling the star is proof that confidence is your best accessory.
Viola Davis
Viola Davis wore a dress from Canadian designer Greta Constantine for the premiere of The Woman King. The orange and pink colour combo made for a very feminine elegant look.

Joe Jonas
Joe Jonas looked suave in the velvet Louis Vuitton suit he wore for the premiere of his movie Devotion. He skipped out on wearing a shirt underneath his jacket and completed the look with a pair of Louboutin shoes.
Kate Hudson
You can’t go wrong with a red dress. Kate Hudson stunned in a Carolina Herrera dress to the premiere of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. She looked chic but also sexy and sultry.
Seth Rogen
Seth Rogen has been rocking blonde hair since June and we’re loving it. He arrived at The Fablemans premiere in a Dior suit and of course his signature accessory, his glasses.
Sadie Sink
Sadie Sink is definitely on her way to becoming a fashion icon. Some might say it’s daring to wear a red dress when you have red hair but the actress looked amazing in her Stella McCartney cutout dress.

Jennifer Lawerence
For the premiere of her movie Causeway Jennifer Lawerence showed off her legs in a see-through black silk chiffon Dior dress. She added a subtle pop of colour with green earrings.
Janelle Monáe
Janelle Monáe channelled an onion for the premiere of the Knives Out sequel. The actress wore a one-of-a-kind gown from Iris Van Herpen and called herself The Glass Onion Goddess on her Instagram page.
Amanda Brugel
Canadian actress Amanda Brugel looked fierce in a cutout dress from Victoria Beckham at the season five premiere of The Handmaid’s Tail. She accompanied the dress with Mejuri jewelry and a statement over-the-knee boots from Aldo. The boot was covered in rhinestone embellishments that added an edgy element to the look.
Taylor Swift
For the premiere of All Too Well: The Shortfilm Taylor Swift sparkled in a sequin dress from Louis Vuitton. If there’s anyone who can pull off bangs without looking tacky it’s her.
