If there’s one thing the city can’t get enough of, it’s definitely burgers. The beloved dish only seems to grow in popularity, with plenty of places in Toronto offering their own versions of it. Like in the case of one of the newer spots in The 6ix, Masala Burgers. Its USP? Indian flavours and spices fused together for a unique offering.

Masala Burgers In Toronto
Helmed by Mohamed Panchbhaya, the menu features burgers, wings and cheesesteaks. He draws inspiration from the street foods in different Indian states, packed with various spices. The meat patties are also marinated for 24 hours and cooked after in a smash-style. Panchbhaya has developed his own tandoori masala masala, which has been incorporated into the burgers.
What can you find on the menu? There’s the hamburger, cheeseburger, double cheeseburger, veggie cheeseburger and cheesesteak. You can also include either fries or onion rings and a drink to make it a meal. Other sides include poutine, sweet potato fries and samosa. Each of the burgers come topped with their secret sauce and on a sesame seed bun.
If you’re not in the mood for burgers, you can also try out their Chicken on a Pita dish. Oh, and did we mention that you can also get different masala wings? Panchbhaya is also working on adding a Masala Poutine to the menu later at some point.
Masala Burgers is located at 2889 St Clair Avenue East and they’re open Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm.
