Winner, winner, chicken dinner folks! Did that make you think of having a chicken sandwich for your next meal? If so, the newest joint for fried chicken in Toronto might be able to help out. Ghost Chicken, operated by John Carlo Zabala and Michael Swirla, has a location on Ossington with an enticing menu.
Fried Chicken in Toronto
The store opening follows the success of their pop-up branch in Mississauga. This isn’t your average, everyday chicken meal. The highest quality ingredients and freshness are two of the values here, no matter which one of their options you’re going for. The marination itself stays for about 24 hours before the meat gets cooked to get optimal flavour.
The menu includes numerous sandwiches, fried chicken items, and combos. Some of their popular ones are the OG Sandwich, and the Nashville Hot (GC Nashville spice blend, fried chicken thigh). You can go for either the regular curly fries for the sides or spiced curly fries (Nashville or garlic). There’s also smashed potatoes and OG Slaw.
Ghost Chicken is located at 74 Ossington Avenue, and they’re open daily from 11:30am. You can also order takeout and delivery via major platforms.
