The vegan scene in Toronto continues to keep growing by the day. Plant-based restaurants and dining concepts are constantly evolving within the city and it’s definitely interesting to see. Caked Coffee is another one to join the roster. The vegan café in The 6ix serves a variety of baked treats and different drinks.

Caked Coffee

The concept was brought to life by husband and wife, Supreet Arora and Raman Gill. They’ve always wanted to operate a business together and they’ve chosen a space within the High Park community to do just that. The café features a simple and elegant interior, while also aiming to have a spacious backyard patio.

All the desserts are made fresh daily, while being free of nuts and refined sugar. From cookies and cakes to sandwiches and cupcakes, there’s something to satisfy everyone sweet or savoury tooth. They also serve gluten free items, like brownies, cupcakes (chocolate and vanilla) and chocolate chip cookies.

Pair those with a beverage, whether that’s coffee, tea or lemonade. The vegan café in the 6ix is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am – 6pm. They’re available on delivery platforms too.
