Like many other industries, the restaurant sector has had to change course during the pandemic. One such spot is Dailo Kitchen, an Asian joint located on College Street. Run by Chef Nick Liu, the restaurant highlights the beauty of Hakka cuisine with a modern twist. And the need to stay afloat in the midst of closures and lockdowns led to his project, the Dailo Pop-Up Noodles.

The pop-up operates out of 1993 Yonge Street, Thursdays to Sundays. Customers can order for takeout or delivery in the midtown area from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. The menu features four noodle dishes, with one vegan option. The items include:
- Hand Pulled Spicy Lamb Noodle
- Vegan Singapore Noodle
- Hakka Wonton Noodle Soup
- Pork & Shrimp Wonton
It is also being done in partnership with Hot Black Coffee, which is the location spot of the pop-up. Chef Liu aims to bring the best that comfort food has to offer and it’s no secret that we could all use some of that in this weather. In addition to this, Dailo Kitchen on College is still offering weekly tasting menus.

You can place orders for pick-up or delivery via Uber Eats and Doordash. Make sure you search for Dailo, and not Hot Black Coffee on the apps!
