In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, David Yurman has once again partnered with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). The American luxury jeweller brand has also launched The David Yurman Award for breast cancer research. The award is worth $250,000, with New York based scientist, Dr. Hayley McDaid as this year’s recipient.

They brand has also featured women on their social media who have been impacted by breast cancer, including Robin Roberts (GMA host), Miranda McKeon (actress) and Paige Stables (beauty editor).
Ever since the partnership began in 2008, the company has been dedicating a selection of pink jewellery for the foundation. So what’s new this year? There are going to be two new styles added to the limited-edition collection.
One of them is a 10mm Renaissance Cable Bracelet in aluminum and pink acrylic. The other is a narrower Cable Bracelet in pink rubber. This is set to be priced at $20 with 100% of the net profits going directly to BCRF.
That’s not all! 20% of sales from its ribbon motif pieces and 100% of net profits from the pink Cable Bracelets will also be donated to the foundation on an ongoing basis throughout the year. Adding to the donation for this entire month is 20% of the purchase price from another BCRF collection, which is sold both online and the company’s retail stores in US and Canada.
