The stunning space that houses Osteria dei Ganzi is awe-inspiring. Built in 1891 by George Horace Gooderham, the Gooderham House – Ganzi’s digs – stands as a testament to the architecture of times gone by. Reflecting a Romanesque Revival style, it has withstood the development barrage in Toronto and stands as impressive today as it did over a century ago, when G. H. Gooderham and family resided within for 15 years. But that’s only a small part of Ganzi’s greatness…
This restaurant-meets-aperitivo bar serves a mix of authentic Italian appetizers and mains. The menu is a mix of Italian classics and contemporary concoctions. With boards of cold cuts and cheeses, antipasti, and crostini readily available, the after-work aperitivo hours are a favourite amongst business-minded patrons. The rest of the world heads over to enjoy a few glasses of vino alongside tantalizing bites for dinner any night of the week.
But don’t take our word for it, watch the vibe of Ganzi yourself, and visit them at our booth at the Delicious Food Show!
