This past Summer, Nordstrom, one of the largest retailers in North America, added Noah to it’s new concepts offerings. Noah brings its eclectic hits of fun summer apparel and a selection of offerings that are sure to be fall favourites.
The partnership came about through the relationship of Nordstrom’s new Concepts SVP, Sam Lobban and Noah founder Brendon Babenzien. Partnerships like this are unusual as smaller boutiques usually don’t share the same goals as large retailers but due to the longstanding relationship of the leads and the shared values of wanting to promote conscious consumption as well as social and environmental awareness which Nordstrom provides Noah a bigger platform to share.
Noah’s focus is not only on sustainability through using recycled materials when possible and heightened consciousness of where their products are made, but in encouraging buying quality and being creative in your styling which allows you to use less verses consuming every new trend.
By partnering, Noah and Nordstrom plan to be changing the approach in the retail scene, assisting with setting a new norm for coordinated effort between big brands and smaller businesses.
