Enchanting Photo Locations Around Toronto You Have to See

distillery district photography

This past year and a bit has been hard on everyone for so many different reasons. However, one reason that particularly stands out is the fact that love couldn’t really be in the air. With the heavy rules and restrictions we experienced, the idea of even having a wedding, or celebration of any kind, was pretty much erased from the minds of eager couples throughout the GTA.

With that said, it’s very likely that weddings will be abundant in the coming months and summertime next year since there has been a year’s worth of them that didn’t happen. So, with the wedding craze sure to be on the rise, here are some enchanting photo locations around Toronto that you have to check out. No matter the occasion, these locations are still hot spots for taking some awesome pictures.

Starting off with an edgier location for wedding photos, the Distillery District is perfect for unique shots with a beautiful, rustic feel. This area of Toronto is full of red brick walls, romantic dim lighting and other photogenic elements that will make your pics pop. The Distillery District is deep in the city, and a popular area full of restaurants and shops, so make sure you go for photos at a reasonable time.

Yorkville

Next up is the chic and stylish Yorkville. This area of the city will have your photos looking like they came straight out of a Hollywood movie. Yorkville is home to some beautiful architecture and crazy cool storefronts that demand to be seen. And that’s not even mentioning the numerous murals and artworks scattered around the area. Every time you turn a corner, there’s another beautiful spot to pose. Again, this area of the city is always really busy, so try to plan accordingly.

Cherry Beach

Changing gears a bit, the next enchanting location for photos is Cherry Beach. This area of the city is sure to give your wedding photos the most picturesque look possible. What more is there to say, it’s an incredibly beautiful and cozy beach that looks like it was made for pictures. If you don’t mind the being outdoors and braving the elements, this is the location for you.

St. Lawrence Market

Back to the streets of The 6ix, this next location is a perfect blend of city and tranquility. Your photos at the St. Lawrence Market will feature some fantastic city elements coupled with the charmingly calm vibe of the area. If your goal is getting some hip and pleasant shots, St. Lawrence Market is the perfect location.

Toronto Island

This is one location you just cannot miss. Toronto Island is packed with an amazing and wide range of stunning shots. From the ferry ride, to the natural elements of the island, to the beaches, this area of the city is your photographic oyster. Just make sure to plan your day properly, shooting on the island can be a day-long event.

Scarborough Bluffs

Finally, perhaps the coolest location on this list, The Scarborough Bluffs. For those who haven’t been, the Bluffs feature some unreal views from both the top of the cliffs to the bottom. There is no shortage of picturesque spots to snap your wedding shots in this scenic location. Just make sure to be careful since the Bluffs have been known to be dangerous when trekking on improper areas.

Although he was born and raised in the surrounding farmlands just north of Toronto, Anthony is definitely no stranger to the excitement of the big city. He really enjoys chilling with his friends and trying new things, so it’s no wonder that the fantastic foods, passionate sports and unrivalled entertainment of The 6ix is what this university student is all about.
