If you’re a sweet-tooth like me, then you can understand the excitement that comes with trying out new desserts. Especially ones with unique flavours and a different twist, like the items found at Mabu Café in Toronto. The Taiwanese spot offers quite the menu when it comes their savoury items, but they’re not shy to put some desserts in the limelight either.
Mabu Cafe In Toronto
The cafe is introduced by the same team behind Mabu Generation. But the menu differs from Mabu Generation & Mabu Station. They’re known for their Taiwanese fusion cuisine while Mabu Cafe offers Hong Kong Cafe style cuisine. What do they all have in common though? An enticing section of the menu dedicated to sweet treats.
One of the highlights is the Hong Kong Style Toast/Pineapple Bun. You’ve also got items with peanut butter, and Ovaltine condensed milk (both of which come as french toasts). They’ve got other milk toast offerings as well, along with plenty of options under the Hong Kong Style Vintage Drink portion of the menu.

Other items you might want to check out are the Waffle with Peanut Butter and Condensed Milk or the Chilled Mango Sago Cream. Or how about some Bunny Milk Pudding? It’s their special take on traditional milk pudding, while also making it quite Insta-worthy.
Mabu Cafe’s savoury portion of the menu has got quite the variety too. With everything from sizzling platters, hot pot and fried chicken to rice bowls and noodle soups, there’s plenty to choose from.
