Film Release: Space Cadet
An Amazon Original film coming to Prime Video on July 4th, 2024 tells the story of Rex, a Florida party girl who unexpectedly becomes the NASA space program’s only hope. Despite her unconventional background, Rex’s smarts, heart, and grit set her apart from the other candidates with impressive résumés. Starring Emma Roberts, Tom Hopper, Poppy Liu, and Gabrielle Union, this film promises a fun and inspiring adventure.

Series premiere: Red Eye
When Dr. Matthew Nolan (Richard Armitage) is renditioned to China from the UK, inexplicable deaths onboard his Red Eye flight raise suspicions. Told over an adrenaline-filled six-part parts, the limited series is a pulse-pounding murder mystery set at 30,000 feet. It releases July 5, 2024 on Paramount+.
Comedy special: Sam Morril: You’ve Changed
Coming to Prime Video on July 9, 2024, is the comedy special “Sam Morril: You’ve Changed, Morril.” In his distinct laid-back style, Morril effortlessly riffs on the worst person he’s ever dated, the complications of getting older, and his take on everything from cable news to the perils of social media.
Series premiere: Sunny
Apple TV+’s Sunny stars Rashida Jones as Suzie, an American in Kyoto whose life is turned upside down when her husband and son disappear in a mysterious plane crash, leaving her with a domestic robot named Sunny as “consolation.” As Suzie and Sunny develop an unexpected friendship, they uncover the dark truth behind her family’s disappearance, leading them into a dangerous new world. It releases July 10, 2024.
Series premiere: Sausage Party: Foodtopia
An Amazon Original series coming to Prime Video on July 11, 2024, is “Sausage Party: Foodtopia.” Based on the 2016 animated feature “Sausage Party,” the series follows Frank, Brenda, Barry, and Sammy as they embark on an adventure to build their own food society.

Film release: Tyler Perry’s Divorce in the Black
An Amazon Original coming to Prime Video on July 11, 2024, is “Tyler Perry’s Divorce in the Black.” It follows Ava, a young bank professional devastated by her husband’s sudden departure. Determined to fight for her marriage, fate steps in and uncovers the wicked deeds that once sabotaged Ava’s destiny to connect with her true soulmate.

Docuseries release: Mafia Spies
In MAFIA SPIES, viewers discover real-world spies, gangsters, honeypots and mistresses who unravel a hidden conspiracy between the CIA and the Chicago mob to assassinate Fidel Castro at a critical time in the Cold War; President Kennedy made it known that there was no living with Castro with missiles 90 miles from American soil. It releases July 16, 2024, on Paramount+.

Album release: Omar Apollo’s “God Said No”
Omar Apollo recently released his new album “God Said No” via Warner Records, featuring singles such as “Spite,” “Less Of You,” and “Dispose of Me.” To promote the album, he will embark on the God Said No North American tour, starting August 20th, which includes a stop in Toronto on September 4th and Vancouver on September 29th. The album reflects Apollo’s introspective and humorous take on life’s challenges and features collaborations with Mustafa and Pedro Pascal.

New single: Crash Adam’s “Hotel Party”
Crash Adams released the high-energy pop single “Hotel Party,” promising a summer anthem. The Toronto duo, Rafaele Massarelli and Vince Sasso, created the track with the McDonough brothers and Ryan Daly. Following their debut EP, they recently surpassed 10 million YouTube subscribers and earned a Juno Nomination for Breakthrough Group of the Year.

Album release: Childish Gambino’s BANDO STONE & THE NEW WORLD
Childish Gambino announced his sixth studio album, “Bando Stone & The New World,” releasing on July 19, along with the first single, “Lithonia.” He will kick off “The New World Tour” in Oklahoma City on August 11, with North American stops including Toronto on August 18, Vancouver on September 23, Calgary on September 27, and Edmonton on September 29, before moving to Europe and Australia. The tour features WILLOW as direct support for North America.
