THE WONDER PAGEANT, this year’s Coal Mine Theatre commission, is a hilarious world premiere every night.
No Script. No Plan. No Net. It will take a miracle. A holiday miracle!
Created and directed by Kayla Lorette (That’s So Weird!) and Ron Pederson, THE WONDER PAGEANT is an unscripted evening of improv comedy, merry music and holiday cheer. With a few ugly sweaters thrown in for good measure! Grab an eggnog and join in on the holiday fun, December 2 – 23 at the Coal Mine Theatre.

From audience suggestions each night, the cast of Canadian Comedy Award-winners, create new sketches and songs on the spot for an insane night of festive follies and Christmas comedy miracles! The intimacy of the Coal Mine Theatre is the perfect way to experience the wonder of improv.
Kayla Lorette (The Sufferettes) and Ron Pederson (One Night Only; the Greatest Musical Never Written) will perform alongside their personal favourite improv superstars. Including Matt Baram (The National Theatre of The World), Jan Carauna (Sunnyside) Paloma Nuñez (She The People), and Kris Siddiqi (Because News), with Musical Director Waylen Miki (The Second City).
Celebrate all of the joy, madness, and wonder of the season with THE WONDER PAGEANT. On December 2 – 23 at the Coal Mine Theatre. Opening night Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 7:30pm.
