Lil Berete closes out a breakout year with his debut Toronto headline show. He’s gone from strength to strength in 2018 with the release of singles “No Make Up”, “Time Flies” and with Icebreaker. His debut mixtape released with his own Ice Cream truck takeover. He’s won widespread acclaim in the city that he calls home and further from The FADER, Complex, Hypebeast, DJ Booth and more.
Lil Berete is fusing local slang with the influence of his mother’s music and art from her homeland of Guinea. he’s quickly created his own unique lane in Toronto’s underground rap scene and beyond. Recording in London, LA, New York, Amsterdam & Paris for what’s set to be an even bigger 2019 .
Lil Berete is set to become Toronto’s next great star.
