For the first time ever, more than 20 of Toronto’s best pizza joints and Italian hotspots will come together. This summer Pizza Fest presented by TasteToronto to celebrate everything Italian. Especially, of course, everyone’s favourite food, pizza!

The much-anticipated event is from the team behind Brunch Fest, Taco Fest and Beer, Bourbon & BBQ. It will see a citywide showdown to crown Toronto’s best slice, but it’s not all about pizza. Italian favourites like fresh pasta, meatball sandwiches, spaghetti carbonara, calzones and ravioli will be in abundance. All paired with classic Italian wines and the king of Italian cocktails, The Negroni.

Guests will immerse themselves in Italian culture with free hands-on workshops like pizza-making classes and wine tastings.

Vendors so far include Yeah Yeahs Pizza, Pasta Mondo, Noce Restaurant, Pizzeria Defina, Pizzeria Via Mercanti, Pizza e Pazzi, family-run Italian cafe, Ferro and Fidel Gastro’s (who will present a specialty fried pizza!) (19+ Event).
