Real Toronto Indigenous Fashion Week

The Real Toronto Indigenous Fashion Week returns March 13th – 16th, 2019.
March 13th
We kick off with an interactive discussion themed: “Truth” “Reconciliation” and “Everyday Indigeneity.” During this formal conversation, Indigenous Artists, Fashion Designers, fashionista’s, academia, and various professionals alike will gather to discuss the revitalization of Indigenous language, fashion, artistic creations, and cultural history.
March 14
This day will feature various Workshops. Including Dress Making, Beading, Drumming Circles, Metis dancing, and various other Cultural activities. (These activities will take place on campus at York University)
March 15
The Indigenous Marketplace and Runway show will take place at Artscape. Located at Daniel Spectrum Way 585 Dundas Street East, Toronto, ON. (Please call 416- 238 – 2453 if you have questions about the location)
March 16
We conclude the with The Final Pow-wow, Marketplace, and Grand Feast. The Marketplace will open at 10:00am. The Pow-wow will kick off at noon, and the Final Grand Feast will begin at 5:00pm. These events will also be held on campus at York University.
